Compass Rose Expeditions makes charitable donations to causes that support ethical travel, local education, and environmental issues.

The International Rivers Network works with an international network of dam-affected people, grassroots organizations, environmentalists, human rights advocates and others who are committed to stopping destructive river projects and promoting better options.

They seek a world where healthy rivers and the rights of local communities are valued and protected. They envision a world where water and energy needs are met without degrading nature or increasing poverty, and where people have the right to participate in decisions that affect their lives.

Braile without Borders empowers blind people from these countries so they themselves can set up projects and schools for other blind people. In this way the concept can be spread across the globe so more blind and visually impaired people have access to education and a better future.

The Lubrak School was established to insure local children in the Annapurna region near Mustang are educated in their traditional Bon religion and culture.

Classroom in the Clouds is a registered NGO working in the Everest region of Nepal in the remote villages of the Solu Khumbu region building classrooms and sponsoring teachers.

They work with Nepalese partners to support education by building good quality classrooms; sponsoring teachers, supporting teacher training, encouraging the employment of female teachers, and Working in partnership with local communities.

The Little Sisters Fund provides long-term scholarships for economically disadvantaged girls in Asia. Girls who, without the educational support of the Little Sisters Fund, would be many times more susceptible to the evils of Child Labor, Child Marriage and Child Trafficking (including the international sex industry).

The Prospect Burma gives young Burmese people access to education by investing in a positive future for Burma through its young people.

The Thunder Dragon Fund helps local communities responsibly steward the inevitable ongoing development of our planet’s most awe-inspiring adventure travel epicenters – whether it be the peaks of the Himalayas, the world’s greatest rivers, the glacial summits of Alaska, the coral reefs of Micronesia, the vast Australian outback, or Antarctica.
